LOGISTICS OPERATIONS

The network that shortensdistances and connects Brazil

packages crossed a state border to reach their destination

Trucks, distribution centers, and neighborhood businesses. That physical network is what lets commerce reach farther: an entrepreneur in the Northeast can sell to someone in the South, with the package arriving in record time.

Cutting logistics costs and delivery times is what enables e-commerce to grow.

In 2025, Mercado Libre operated 137 logistics centers and 5,946 delivery and pickup agencies, reaching 1 in every 4 municipalities in the country.

Cutting logistics costs and delivery times is what enables e-commerce to grow, and benefits small, peripheral, and low-ticket sellers the most. Mercado Libre's logistics map, which started out concentrated in the Southeast, gradually expanded toward the South and, more recently, toward the Center-West, North, and Northeast.

This reach integrates the domestic market, connecting regional economies with high-demand hubs, and spreads opportunities more evenly, bringing the network closer to smaller cities it didn't used to reach. The last mile — the delivery and pickup agencies, many of them neighborhood businesses — is the most visible tip of that process.
